The Carlton County Transportation Department is planning on reconstructing CSAH 61 in 2027.

They will be holding a public meeting at the Thomson Township Hall, located at 25 E Harney Rd, Esko, MN 55733 at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2026. 

This meeting is intended to educate the users and adjacent property owners on the project details such as schedule and design considerations.
