This site covers information for the Esko Historical Society.  It includes contact information, days and hours of operation, and a photo gallery. 

The Esko Historical Society Museum is located in the heart of the Alex Esko farm. The museum has seven buildings: The Kangas Log Farm House built in 1898, the First One Room School House in Esko, built in 1897, a Grist Mill originally the Midway River at the Palkie Rapids, in 1878, a Savu Sauna, the Riihi (Granary) from the John Sorila farm built in 1885, a separate building containing a Horse Drawn School Bus, Buggies, other early Transportation and Farming Machinery and Tools, and a building over the early Township's D8 Snowplow.

The Historical Society goal is preserve the past through stories and artifacts of Thomson Township.

Little Esko Lutheran Preschool

LELP is a faith-based program that emphasizes school-readiness skills for children ages 3 to 5.  We offer a safe and nurturing environment, where each child is encouraged to develop an understanding of what it mends to be a child of God.  Morning half-day classes are held from September through May. Located in St. Matthew's Lutheran Church located at 4 Elizabeth Avenue, Esko.
